A beacon of excellence in education, has been acknowledged as a Global, Innovative, Strategic, and Transformative (GIST) School by the Global Educational Community for its unwavering dedication to learner-centered strategies, emotional well-being, systems thinking, and fostering global competencies among its students. This partnership signifies a collaborative effort to enhance educational practices further, expand community engagement, and provide new global opportunities to ensure that students have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in an ever-evolving world. The Academy of Global Studies Coordinator Josh Amstutz shares..
“We could not be more ecstatic about this amazing accomplishment due to the hard work of our students, staff, and community. For the past 13 years, we have dedicated ourselves to promoting global education to provide our students with a one-of-a-kind global schooling opportunity. I am excited to explore the new opportunities that will now exist for our students and staff due to this opportunity with distinction!”
The School Ecosystem
In GIST schools, children, their parents, teachers, and other stakeholders come together to create an intergenerational learning community where all participants learn from and with one another and become more competent global citizens and leaders of change. Every member of the school ecosystem has the opportunity or possibility to become the initiator, implementer, and receiver of knowledge and skills. All members of the School Ecosystem work together to provide an effective, coordinated, broader learning ecosystem, both in and outside of school.
